I was going to start this post off by saying that it is every bloggers nightmare to wake up and not have the enthusiasm to put together a blog post but it is really that difficult? While in answer to that question if it isn’t based on a project then it actually is very difficult. The problem with it is that you need to know enough about the subject you are writing about and if you don’t then you are not going to write it well or could even make factual mistakes in the post.
As you can see Total Reach itself the last week or so hasn’t really seen much activity and that was because nothing really stood out for me that I felt I needed to comment on. Sure everyone can have an opinion on everything but when your producing content you need to consider your view and whether it has the ability to expand. In most cases I often think wow that is a great topic to post about then when you sit down to write the article you realise it is over in seconds, you just either didn’t have enough knowledge about the subject or the subject wasn’t really broad enough to produce a whole blog post about.
I think like anything if its worth producing it worth producing well, but sometimes you have to take a break from it in order to achieve that. Now if you have regular readers or views then just push out post that explains that you are going through a dry patch and if they have any suggestions to contact you, along with explaining that you are going to take a short break to recharge your batteries in most cases everyone will understand and maybe even help you through the dry spell. This is the beauty of the internet and building up a community. The trick is to keep your readers informed.
