Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 Review

This movie wasn’t a let down but it wasn’t as good as it could have been.  It was a good ending to the series of movies and the story but because it was done in parts I kind of lost the plot in the beginning as I couldn’t remember where we had got to.  The problem that I had also with the movie was it didn’t seem to hold the suspense like some of the older ones, the tension wasn’t quite there when it came to the final battle scenes.

Now I must confess I haven’t read the books so I don’t know what material they had to work on but you would have thought that if they thought the book was too big to fit into one movie then you had enough material to build up the suspense a bit more than what they did.  that being said though it is a good movie just and a fitting end to the story, I think it will mean more if you were to get the box set and watch all the movies in one go.

If your going to watch the movie at the cinema I would advice not going to see it 3D as the 3D effects aren’t the best and you will not be missing out on much by seeing the 2D version that being said though the acting was pretty good and I have to say I enjoyed it as I strangely enjoyed the series.  I’d give this movie a 7/10
